Daily use of wayfinding

Once your screens and locations are set-up, you need to put content onto the screens. This is where the fun begins, so let’s get to it!

Creating a new wayfinding template

From the home page, open ‘Templates’ from the content management panel and create a new template with the + plus icon. Add a name, choose the correct format of the screen and save. Open your new template from the template list. Open ‘settings’ and if desired set a background colour or image.

Adding location wayfinding information to a template

This is intended for an overview screen showing directions to events being held in the defined locations. Open your new template, on the top right select ‘Add item’ and choose ‘Wayfinding’. A standard page opens with 5 location lines, in the right-side control panel you can adjust the number according to your needs, as well as change colours and fonts. Return to the home page, use ‘drag and drop’ to allocate your template to the correct schedule.

Creating location event template

This is intended for a single screen showing event information outside a single location. Open your new template, on the top right select ‘Add items’ and choose ‘Wayfinding -> Meetings (events)’. A standard page opens with 2 meetings / events lines (‘now and next’ events), in the right-side control panel you can adjust colours and fonts. Return to the home page, use ‘drag and drop’ to allocate your template to the correct schedule.

Add a meeting or an event to a location

On the Events tab, find the location you want to use and click on the ‘New Event’+ icon. Fill in all the relevant details and save.

Only show wayfinding / location information when events or activities are scheduled

With the template open, select ‘Conditions’ from the top bar and mark the checkbox ‘Wayfinding – show this template when there are wayfinding events’ or ‘Events – show this template when there are meeting room events’, you can also set how long in advance of an event this should be shown.
